Carissa Farrell
Second Grade Teacher
Ms. Farrell is very happy to be a part of the Athenian Academy family. She has a very cheerful personality and is very passionate when it comes to educating young minds. She was brought to Holiday, Florida by her parents when she was 3 years old and hasn’t left since. After spending many years being a nanny for a family in Tampa she decided to put her love for children to good use and go back to school in 2013 to work on her bachelor’s degree in education. In December 2015, she graduated with her Bachelors of Science Degree in Prekindergarten-Primary Education with Reading and ESOL endorsements from St. Petersburg College. She remained on the Dean’s List all throughout her program and enjoyed every moment she spent in various classrooms.

Being a resident of sunny Florida, Ms. Farrell loves spending her free time at the beach. She also enjoys keeping up with the latest fashions, trying out new recipes, traveling, spending time with her friends and family and building relationships with people in her community. She also enjoys concerts, sporting events and a good movie. This is her first year of teaching and could not be more excited to meet the students and parents of Athenian Academy.
